Spells are to Wicca as prayers are to other religions. In essence, spells are prayers. It is a misconception that they force things into happening. There is no force involved. Spells are merely appeals to the Universe and the Goddess, for things that we need or want. Often, these wishes are fulfilled, though not always in the way we look for them to happen. Sometimes we receive the fulfilment of our prayer only to show us that it is not something that we need, or that what we prayed for isn't a good thing for us. Always remember to think and rethink, and rethink again, what you are placing a request in for. Sleep on it for a few days or months- however long it takes you to become absolutely certain that you will be happy with what you receive, if you do indeed receive it. As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for.

Spells written by your own hand will always work better than anything read, borrowed, or handed down.

note: i don't include 'love spells' here because i don't condone their usage. they are nothing more than slavery spells- forcing someone into situations they wouldn't be involved in otherwise. any spells here dealing with love do not deal with commanding individuals, but bringing love itself into your life.
